The Mini Session Experience.
Capturing the calm, the crazy and everything in between, at a short and sweet mini session.
Mini Session - Maximum Fun.
Want to update your family photographs but don’t want a full portrait session? Perhaps you’re a bit more enthusiastic about having family photographs taken than your partner? Or maybe you’re worried that the kids won’t last a full 60 minute session.
Well a mini session would be perfect for you! They last up to 20 minutes: are the perfect opportunity to update your family photographs. They have all the fun, attention to detail and the same great experience you’d expect from a full portrait session, just in a shorter time. You’ll be guided through the session with prompts rather than poses, get some seasonal shots and capture those moments in life that fly by quicker than the blink of an eye.
Short and sweet.
Mini Sessions are available to book on set dates and at set locations throughout the year.
For just £95, you’ll receive a private online gallery with your choice of 5 fully retouched digital photographs included in the session price.
Can’t choose just five?! Not a problem. You can upgrade for extra digital photographs, prints and frames. Find out more info here.

How It Works.
Step 01
Getting to know you.
As always every booking starts with getting to know you. When you book your slot, I’ll send you a short questionnaire to find out a little bit about you and your family. We can always book a quick call in if you’d prefer a chat.
I want to know why you want your photographs taken, what makes your kids laugh and if you’re planning on bringing the dog along. (yes please)
I’ll also send you a little guide so you know how to prepare for your session, give you ideas on what to and what NOT to wear etc.
Step 02
Be on time. (Please)
On the day of your photo session, I’ll be photographing other families throughout the day, so please try your best to be on time.
We’ll meet at the agreed location and we’ll get going, I promise you’ll only feel a little bit silly for the first few minutes.
Step 03
Editing your photos.
The hard parts over, you laughed, you smiled beautifully. Now what?
I go away and start work on editing your photographs, I’ll put together a collection of photographs for you to view in your private online gallery.
It can take up to two weeks to get your preview gallery to you (often it’s much quicker).
Step 04
Choosing memories to treasure.
Once you’ve had chance to look at your gallery, we’ll schedule a call and I’ll help you to choose your favourites, any extras you might like such as additional photographs, framing or albums.
Your chosen photographs will then be fully retouched and sent to you as high resolution digital images, or as prints/frames/albums if you’ve chosen one of those options.

You can never predict the English weather, if the weather is really bad, then I will reschedule you in to another date that suits.
However, if you’re up for it and there’s no risk of being washed or blown away, we can brave the elements, splash in the puddles, sled in the snow and just have fun!
