Hi There, I’m Christa.

Who am I?

Depending on your perspective, I was born on the right, or the wrong, side of the Pennines; in Warrington, Cheshire. I grew up with a love for art, design and anything that allowed me to be creative.

Fast forward a couple of decade or so and I moved to Leeds to study, met my now husband, bought a house and had a baby. Although it really wasn’t as straightforward as all that.

I’m a dungaree wearing, Yorkshire tea drinking, Mum, Photographer and you may see me out and about on my roller skates (if you haven’t, I insist you try it).

What do I do?

You might have gathered already, I’m a photographer. I photograph people who love each other, people who love who they are and people who love what they do.

Having studied photography as part of my design degree, I went to work in a commercial photography studio where I learnt all about working with big brands, perfecting product photography and the power of visual storytelling.

During this time, my Dad (also a photographer) asked me to help him at a couple of weddings as a second shooter… Despite my introverted nature, I loved it. The joy, the love and the laughter was infectious, I found my calling and a slightly awkward people person was born.

Why?

As a mother, wife and professional photographer, I know how the parts of life we value the most seem to fly by in an instant. My mission is to capture the love you share, the daily expressions of joy, and the beauty of the ordinary in a soulful and timeless way.

As a small business owner, I want to help others to enhance their businesses and visual identities with professional and creative imagery at affordable prices.
